Description
The LT9000 level transmitter utilizes Radio Frequency admittance technology, which measures the change in capacitance between the sensor probe and the vessel wall in order to determine the level. Any change in level causes a capacitance change, which is converted into a 4/20 mA output signal. This signal can then be sent to a local display, PLC or other programable controller.
The standard unit is made of a solid stainless-steel probe fully insulated with a non-conductive coating such as HALAR or thick TEFLON SLEEVE – both compatible with a wide variety of aggressive liquids.
Inside the explosion proof housing are the sensing electronics and manual calibration adjustment. The isolated 4-20 mA output signal can drive a load of up to 1000 ohms. The zero and span can be set over the entire length of the probe or any portion of the probe.
The entire unit is backed by a two-year warranty, 60-day money back guarantee.
